Charleston Wine + Food
March 4 - 8

Charleston Wine + Food was founded in 2005 by a group of loyal community leaders with a vision of creating an event to promote + elevate Charleston’s culinary brand. This multi-day wine + food festival will be centered at the Culinary Village at the Johnson Hagood Stadium. chswf.org

Flowertown Festival
March 27 - 29

Every spring, Summerville, South Carolina, comes alive with vibrant azaleas, wisteria, and dogwoods for the annual Flowertown Festival, hosted by the Summerville Family YMCA. A Top 20 event in the Southeast, this three-day arts and crafts festival attracts over 200,000 visitors. summervilleymca.org/flowertown

Cooper Bridge Run
March 28

Get ready to hit new heights at the Cooper River Bridge Run, one of the most famous 10K races in the country! Starting in scenic Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, runners make their way across the iconic Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge with sweeping views of Charleston Harbor before finishing in historic downtown Charleston. Credit One Charleston Open 
March 28 - April 5

The Credit One Charleston Open is a WTA 500 tennis tournament hosted on Daniel Island in Charleston, South Carolina. High Water Festival
April 18 - 19

Bringing musicians from all over the world to the beautiful Riverfront of North Charleston, this year’s High Water Festival headliners include Alabama Shakes, My Morning Jacket, Lake Street Drive, Caamp, Sheryl Crow and Peach Pit. At Riverfront Park. highwaterfest.com

MJ The Musical
March 10 - 15

Cobblestone Celebration of Quilts, Textiles, and Fiber Arts Show
March 20 - 22

Established in 1983 to foster the art of quilting, encourage a high standard of design and technique in all its various forms, and stimulate an interest in  these goals within the South Carolina Lowcountry community. Mount Pleasant Art Fest
March 21

This annual festival at the Mount Pleasant Towne Centre brings families and cultural enthusiasts together with budding and professional artists for an event that showcases a diverse array of local and regional artistic talent. Local music, dance, and visual arts studios offer stunning performances by some of the area’s most talented individuals and groups. 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Mount Pleasant Towne Centre.

Mount Pleasant Farmers Market Opening Day
April 7

The weekly Mount Pleasant Farmers Market features vendors selling local farm-fresh produce, meats, sauces, baked goods, and other specialty foods in a festival atmosphere! Enjoy live music along with goods from local farmers and vendors! Open 3:30 pm - 7:00 pm every Tuesday.

The North Charleston Smooth and Gullah Jazz Music Festival
April 11

The premiere of the North Charleston Smooth & Gullah Jazz Music Festival is about to light up the city with explosive performances, cultural excitement, and a musical vibe unlike anything the region has seen. (northcharlestoncoliseumpac.com) 

FORK & FLOW
April 12

FORK & FLOW: Taste of North Charleston spotlights the city’s best chefs, restaurants, food trucks, breweries, distilleries and cultural tastemakers for an unforgettable day of flavors, sounds, and vibes. Held at the Striped Pig Distillery in North Charleston.

Charleston Jazz Festival
April 13 - 19

This year’s festival features an extraordinary lineup of internationally renowned artists, distinguished local musicians, and a diverse array of performances, presented in partnership with a variety of organizations and venues. (charlestonjazz.com)

30th Annual Charleston Race Week
April 16 - 19

Experience the thrill of Charleston Race Week, one of the largest and most exciting sailing regattas in the United States! Held each spring at Patriots Point in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, this world-class event brings together hundreds of sailors and spectators for three days of high-energy competition on Charleston Harbor. Lowcountry Cajun Festival
April 18

Bringing Louisiana to the Lowcountry, the Lowcountry Cajun Festival is back with a full day of Zydeco music, Cajun and Creole foods, kids activities, and all around ragin’ Cajun fun! Charleston Cocktail Week
April 20-26

Blessing of the Fleet & Seafood Festival
April 26

The Annual Blessing of the Fleet & Seafood Festival is one of the most highly anticipated events of the year! The festival pays tribute to Mount Pleasant’s local shrimping and fishing industry, offering a boat parade, live music, a craft show, and lots of free activities with the picturesque Ravenel Bridge and Charleston Harbor for a backdrop! 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park. North Charleston Arts Festival
April 29 - May 3

The North Charleston Arts Fest features five days of events highlighting regional and local artists and performers in the areas of Dance, Music, Theatre, Visual Arts, and Literature.
