Now celebrating ten years, Julian and Polly Buxton have built a true community hub where their motto “Books Connect Us” comes to life daily— from thoughtful, hand-sold recommendations to dynamic author events next door at The Charleston Library Society and throughout the city.

Buxton Books also offers story-driven tours that begin at its front door, perfect for locals and visitors alike. Open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., it’s a place to discover, connect, and be part of Charleston’s literary scene.
