Holiday cocktails to make at home
Tis the season for a festive holiday cocktail, whether enjoyed on a cozy night in or served as a special drink for holiday guests. We asked bartenders and beverage directors from Charleston’s popular bars to share their favorite holiday cocktail recipes to make at home, or pop by and leave the mixing to them.

Spiritless Jalisco 55 Paloma
2 oz Spiritless Jalisco 55
4 oz Grapefruit Soda
1/4 oz Fresh Lime Juice
Splash of Grapefruit thyme simple syrup
Mix to combine
Garnish with thyme and grapefruit slice

Chai With Me
1.5 oz Cinnamon-infused Whiskey
2 oz Chai tea
1 oz Baileys
Shaken Hard
Strained into Martini Glass
Sprinkle cinnamon powder on top and garnish with a chocolate straw.

Holiday Cheermeister
1.5 oz. Gin
.75 Zirbenz Pine Liqueur
.5 oz. Amaro Nonino
1.5 oz. Cranberry Orange Syrup (recipe below)
.75 Lemon Juice
2 dashes Black Walnut Bitters
Shake the cocktail with ice, strain into a stemmed cocktail coupe and garnish with a sage leaf.
To make the Cranberry Orange Syrup
1 cup fresh cranberries
2 cups orange juice
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 cinnamon stick
Add ingredients to a pot, bring to a boil, turn heat down to a simmer for 10-12 minutes. Remove cinnamon stick and blend mixture.
